Subject Matter Expert: Pastoral Care and Wellbeing

Catholic Education Tasmania are looking for a passionate and experienced candidates that can provide system level specialist support across Catholic education.

As Subject Matter Expert: Pastoral Care and Wellbeing, you will:

  • Implement all CET Strategic Goals in the area of specialisation, including the CET Insight into Learning Project.
  • Lead key projects within Insight into Learning, such as High Impact Teaching Practice, Early Years, Curriculum Resourcing.
  • Foster connections with and between schools for collaborative conversations, including engaging with Principals, leadership teams and high performing teachers.
  • Provide in school support and professional learning to develop consistent learning and assessment practices that use knowledge of student data to inform teaching and learning.

Some of the skills and experiences we are looking for are:

  • Education degree with teaching experience.
  • Registered to teach in Tasmanian Schools or able to gain registration.
  • Successful leadership experience in supporting curriculum and/or pedagogy in a system or school setting.
