Sacred Heart Catholic School - Ulverstone, part of Catholic Education Tasmania, is seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Specialist Teacher - Arts / Drama on a Limited Tenure basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and creative educator to inspire young minds and nurture their artistic talents.

As the Specialist Teacher - Arts / Drama, you will have the chance to craft an engaging and dynamic curriculum that fosters students' creative expression, critical thinking, and appreciation for the arts, allowing them to explore their talents and develop essential life skills.

In this role, you will facilitate a nurturing and creative environment and encourage students to unleash their creativity, build confidence, and develop effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Applicants are required to:

  • Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.
  • Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching.
  • Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school.
  • Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications.
  • Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or be able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position.
