Sacred Heart Catholic School is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education for the following new position to be based at Ulverstone.

Finance Officer
Ongoing – 37.5 hrs per week
Commencing 28 January 2025

This ongoing position will work under general supervision of the Principal and will be required to demonstrate:

  • Effectiveness in financial and accounting functions (including accounts payable, accounts receivable and end of month procedures)
  • Experience in preparing and analysis of budget and monthly financial reports
  • Ability to follow specified policies, procedures and internal control and audit processes
  • Experience in maintaining personnel records and payroll system for staff
  • Proficiency in the use of computerised processing and commercial finance systems
  • Strong time management and organisational abilities in an office environment
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a wider team environment
  • Commitment to personal and team effectiveness

Salary will be in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.
