Finance Business Partner

 Full Time - Ongoing

Catholic Education Tasmania are looking for a passionate, engaging and driven candidate to become their next Finance Business Partner and provide critical financial analysis, strategic advice, and operational insights to our system.

As the Finance Business Partner, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Lead to develop financial forecasting models.
  • Model the financial impact of changes to funding methodologies on schools and the CET system.
  • Act as the key financial advisor to assigned schools, principals, and business managers.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimise financial operations across CET schools.

Some of the skills and experiences we are looking for are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, preferably in the education or not-for-profit sectors.
  • Significant (10 years +) practical experience in financial management.
