St Finn Barr’s Catholic School is situated in the beautiful suburb of Invermay, Launceston. It was established in 1894 by the Presentation Sisters as a Parish School. The Sisters established a proud tradition of excellence in education and service to members of the community, in a spirit of love, respect and compassion based on the Gospel values.

St Finn Barr’s Catholic School is seeking applications from suitably qualified, innovative and enthusiastic teachers who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.

 Applicants will:

• Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.
• Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching
• Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school.
• Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications.
• Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or be able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.
