The Opportunity

Graduate teachers or those eligible for a Limited Authority to Teach (LAT) are encouraged to apply for this exciting teaching role. MacKillop Catholic College has an innovative Graduate Teacher Program to support such applicants.

About you

As a qualified Teacher you will be able to exhibit a wide range of exemplary teaching practices, which include:

  • Creating and maintaining supportive and safe learning environments
  • Teaching excellence in the Australian Curriculum and using research based best pedagogical practices.
  • Working collaboratively in a team to plan and implement effective teaching and learning.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with all members of the school community.
  • Passionate and committed to high quality and innovative Catholic education.
  • An understanding of and ability to contribute to the mission and values of MacKillop Catholic College as a Catholic school.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.
