Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Key Teacher

2 February 2026 – 18 December 2026

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator or educators to take on a Special Projects position in 2026, combining responsibilities for English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) and/or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education.

This 12-month opportunity will focus on supporting cultural understanding, inclusive learning practices, and strong connections across our school community.

This position offers flexibility, with days and working arrangements negotiable depending on the successful applicant. Educators who are passionate about diverse learning, inclusion, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are strongly encouraged to apply.

Catholic Education Tasmania and St Finn Barr’s Primary School are committed to supporting the rights of children and young people and providing a safe and supportive environment for them. The successful candidate will require satisfactory child safety checks and registrations.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.
