St Brigid’s is a K - 6 Catholic Co-educational Primary School who nurture faith tradition, pursue excellence and are focused on creating preferred futures for all. St Brigid’s Catholic School Wynyard has been providing a Catholic education for students since 1923 and currently offers co-educational classes from kindergarten through to Grade 6 for approximately 220 students.

Applications are invited for the following positions:

 

Teacher Assistant - 2 Positions

Commencing 2 February 2026, Ongoing

15 hrs a week (3 days)

Our school is seeking applications from innovative and enthusiastic teacher assistants who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.

About the Role

Teacher Assistants are responsible for the effective delivery of quality educational support for students to enable enhanced learning outcomes. These roles provide support to teachers in the delivery of defined educational programs and activities and interventions for students.

You will work collaboratively with the Student Support Coordinator contributing to a school culture grounded in Catholic values and the mission of Catholic Education Tasmania.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.
