St Brigid’s is a K - 6 Catholic Co-educational Primary School who nurture faith tradition, pursue excellence and are focused on creating preferred futures for all. 

St Brigid’s Catholic School Wynyard has been providing a Catholic education for students since 1923 and currently offers co-educational classes from kindergarten through to Grade 6 for approximately 220 students.

Applications are invited for the following positions:

Teachers - 2 Positions

Grade 5 (0.2FTE) and Grade 6 (0.2FTE)

Limited Tenure

Commencing 2 February 2026 until 18 December 2026

 Our school is seeking applications from innovative and enthusiastic teachers who can demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.

Applicants will:

• Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.
• Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching
• Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school.
• Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications.
• Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or be able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.
