St Brigid’s Catholic School is a co-educational Catholic School situated in New Norfolk, catering for 226 students from kindergarten to Grade 6.

Position of Leadership (3 Year contract)
Commencing 2 February 2026  

The school is seeking applications from suitably qualified, innovative and enthusiastic teachers who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.

Applicants will:

  • Be an active Catholic who is committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.
  • Be accredited to teach Religious Education and demonstrate highly effective religion teaching practice.
  • Demonstrate a deep commitment to the ongoing professional learning and formation of self and others to work and teach in a Catholic school.
  • Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications.
  • Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or be able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position.
