About the Roles
The Primary Teachers will provide high‑quality learning experiences that support the spiritual, academic and wellbeing needs of students. These roles suit enthusiastic, relational and reflective educators who model Catholic principles and contribute positively to a collaborative school culture.
Key responsibilities include:

Build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
Support diverse learners through inclusive, differentiated practice.
Collaborate actively with colleagues in planning, moderation and professional dialogue.
Promote critical thinking and a culture of truth‑seeking.
Engage parents as partners in their child’s learning.
Create safe learning environments that support student growth.
Participate in professional learning and ongoing development.
Support extra‑curricular activities within the school and parish.
Complete reporting duties including learning plans, interviews and written reports.
About You
You will demonstrate:
Ability to teach Religious Education (Accreditation C)
Strong understanding of how students learn
Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum
Effective classroom management and planning
Ability to assess, provide feedback and report on learning
Professional engagement with colleagues and families
Commitment to ongoing professional learning
Flexibility, reliability and integrity
Essential Requirements
Valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration
Registered Teacher in Tasmania (or ability to obtain)
Accreditation C (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable
Postgraduate qualification
Current First Aid Certificate
Motor vehicle licence
Experience across multiple schools or grade levels
